The Newton's Landing Board of Trustees has reorganized following the Oct. 24 death of its president, Larry Anastasi of Harris Court.

Vice-President Mario Napolitano has become president. Ken Harris, who had been serving as a non-voting “trustee at large,” an appointed position akin to a trustee internship, was appointed a voting trustee under the provisions of the Bylaws for filling vacancies and was also elected Board vice president.

At the time of his unexpected death, Anastasi was in his fourth year as an HOA trustee, having also served a year as a non-voting “member at large.” He had been elected president in July and was liaison to the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee.

Harris, appointed member at large in July (for the second, non-consecutive time), will take over as ADR liaison and as the trustee snow coordinator for February.

Napolitano, of Pennington Court, with 14 years of service is the longest-serving trustees ever and has been Board president several times before.

The Board also furnished updated contact information, including preferred phone numbers, for its members. Web site contact lists and the home page scrolling announcement have been updated to reflect the Board changes.
